Even brand-new or well-maintained vehicles can show minor imperfections in the paint. So, before we added any protective layers, we performed a full paint correction. Fortunately, this BMW was in pretty good shape so it only needed a single stage polish. This means that we used a machine polisher, a polishing pad, and a liquid polish to buff and polish the paint work. This helped to remove minor swirls, wash marks, and imperfections and enhance the gloss and depth of the paint work. For a car like the M3, known for its sharp lines and bold color options, this step really helps the paint pop.

Step 2: Full Front-End Paint Protection Film (PPF)

With the paint corrected and looking its best, we moved on to the next critical layer of defense: paint protection film. The BMW M3 is a driver’s car—often pushed hard on highways, backroads, or even track days. That means the front end is constantly exposed to rock chips, bugs, road debris, and other hazards. Should the film be damaged, it can be replace more easily than it would be to repaint the panel that it was protecting.
