The two-bucket hand wash of our exterior detailing service involves the use of two buckets where one is filled with clean water and a detailing solution and the other has clean rinse water. When washing the vehicle, the microfiber towel first goes into the soapy bucket and then onto the car to wash it, working top to bottom. After we have finished a section, the microfiber towel goes into the clean water bucket where a grit guard removes any dirt or grime from the towel. This process minimizes the chances of dirt or contamination going back onto the vehicle.

Clay bar decontamination is the process of removing all residual contaminants from vehicle paintwork left over after a two-bucket hand wash. How this is done is by spraying a lubricant on the vehicle’s exterior surfaces and then taking a mild to aggressive bar of clay to it. We drag said clay bar delicately across the paint, where the clay itself agitates the residual contaminants which can then be rinsed away for a smooth, fully decontaminated surface.
